As a construction claims and disputes consulting firm, FTI Consulting’s construction practice specializes in analyzing and substantiating project delays and damages. The strength of a claim is often dictated by the contractor’s actions prior to engaging FTI Consulting. Knowing what happened and being able to demonstrate it are two different things, and so it is important to be proactive and navigate the construction process with clarity and intent.
This presentation will provide the audience with a general understanding of the construction claims process from the perspective of a construction claims and disputes expert. It will aim to establish a base level of understanding of how to navigate these processes, and what is required to produce a reasonable and substantiated claim.
