This event is hosted by our trainer, Michelle Dumler, with over 18 years of experience in the residential, commercial, and industrial construction industry as a red-seal electrician. She’ll be leading hands-on demonstrations of basic hand tools (i.e. screwdriver, pliers, etc.) and basic power tools (i.e. drill, impact driver, etc.).
Speaker Bio :
Michelle Dumler – Red Seal Electrician for 18 Years - Currently an Electrician and Project Manager, she also is the mother of 2 and has a passion for educating others in construction. You may remember her from our “Women in Work Boots” panel discussion in 2024, and she’s back for another event with WiC Nanaimo. Aside from working full time on the construction industry, she also teaches Handy Mandy courses through the local Habitat for Humanity.
