Falls are a leading cause of injuries in the workplace. It’s critical to understand the hazards of working at heights, as well as the application and limitations of the fall protection systems designed to protect you from falling.

This course is designed to provide users of fall protection systems with adequate knowledge to be able to assess the job, evaluate the hazards, and choose the correct fall protection system when working at heights.

*Please note that this is an awareness course only and does not include any hands-on training with fall protection equipment. If you are a job-seeker it is important to be aware that employers may require Fall Protection Certification obtained from a hands-on, in-person course.

By the end of the course, you will learn how to:

• Identify the uses of different fall protection systems
• Recognize the roles and responsibilities of various workplace parties
• Use the components of a fall arrest system
• Control fall hazards in the workplace
• Inspect fall protection equipment
• Properly don a harness

• Self-paced e-learning course with video and interactive quizzes
• About 45 minutes of self-paced instruction
• Final Test: Your course completion certificate will not be released until you successfully complete the final test with an 80% passing grade. Three failed attempts on the final test will trigger a failed course. In order to continue you must repurchase the course and begin again.
