Young Builders Network – Nanaimo
Mandate
To develop a young executive’s network in order to provide an atmosphere of networking to build relationships within the construction community; to present information, professional development and leadership or mentorship opportunities that will benefit the individual YBN members and their respective companies; to participate in community engagement initiatives; and to support and promote career paths in the construction industry.
YBN is proudly supported by the Vancouver Island Construction Association.
Events
The VICA YBN – Nanaimo Network has two separate functions every other month:
- Leadership Meetings:
Everyone is welcome to attend. The purpose is to discuss upcoming programming, as well as to plan and shape the committee.
- Networking & Professional Development Events:
All YBN members are encouraged to attend. These events vary, with each one focusing on fulfilling our mandate.
Sponsoring an Event
Sponsorship varies and includes:
- Logo in promotional emails;
- Logo on the registration page;
- Signage at the event;
- Option to speak for five (5) minutes at the start of the event; and
- Option to distribute promo or marketing information to the network.
