VICA COURSE POLICIES

In-person Courses: Vaccination Policy

VICA will follow health and safety requirements for in-person courses as directed by the BC Public Health Office (PHO). As we continue to live with COVID-19, we recognise that these PHO mandates may change from time to time, and vaccination may or may not be mandated by the PHO as a requirement for event attendance. However, to continue to safeguard our community’s health, VICA’s preference is for all in-person course attendees to be fully vaccinated.

Course Cancellation/Refund Policies

E-Learning

  • No refunds or cancellations are permitted once an order has been placed for an E-learning course.

In-Person Training

  • Registration cancellation request/notification received:
    • Ten (10) business days before the course start date: Full refund of registration fees
    • Less than ten (10) business days before the course start date, and up to five (5) business days before the course start date: Refund of half (50%) course registration fees. No transfers to future course dates.
    • Less than five (5) business days before the course start date and course no-shows: No refunds. No transfers to future course dates.
    • Substitution of another member of your company/team is permitted up to the course start date for no additional fee.

Virtual Training

  • Registration cancellation request/notification received:
    • Five (5) or more business days before the course: Full refund of registration fees
    • Less than five (5) business days before the course/day of the course: No refunds. No transfers of registration fee to a future course date.
    • Substitution of another member of your company/team is permitted up to the course start date for no additional fee.
  • Unless otherwise stated, every person able to see, hear, and observe the virtual course sessions must be a paid participant. Non-compliance of this requirement will result in removal from the course. Refunds will not be issued to students who are removed from the course for non-compliance of this requirement.

*Construction 101 (Virtual Course)

  • Registration cancellation request/notification received:
    • Three (3) weeks before the course start date: Full Refund of Registration Fee
    • Less than three (3) weeks before the course start date: No refunds. No transfers of registration fee to a future course date.
  • Please Note: Construction 101 delivered virtually is subject to a unique cancellation and refund policy due to the limited seats and extensive coordination required to provide students with hard-copy materials. We appreciate your understanding.

Discounts & Promo Codes

Victoria Residential Builders Association (VRBA) Members – PROMO Code

Use of the VRBA Member Promo Code is restricted to VRBA member companies. Registrants using the code must be members of the VRBA at the time of registration. Use of the VRBA code by non-VRBA members is not permitted. VICA reserves the right to cancel and refund registrations without notification if found to be made by non-VRBA members using the code.
