Building bench strength ensures that you can maintain continuity, stability, and performance by having a ready supply of skilled employees who can fill critical roles as they come up. Developing a pool of talented employees ready to step into key roles is key for business continuity, but it doesn’t happen by accident. This three hour virtual session will leave you with the skills to develop your “bench” of backup team members who are ready with the skills to perform with confidence when it’s their turn. Whether it’s recognizing employee potential, providing mentorship, or planning training, preparing an intentional approach for future transitions is essential, and this session will teach you how.

Less than five (5) business days before the course/day of the course: No refunds. No transfers of registration fee to a future course date.

Substitution of another member of your company/team is permitted up to the course start date for no additional fee.

Note: Unless otherwise stated, every person able to see, hear, and observe the virtual course sessions must be a paid participant. Non-compliance of this requirement will result in removal from the course. Refunds will not be issued to students who are removed from the course for non-compliance of this requirement.

Course Instructors

Jocelin

Jocelin has been a coach, recruiter, and facilitator for over 50 different local and international organizations and spent more than 20 years as a Human Resource and Program Management generalist. She has built extensive experience in recruitment and selection, terminations, return to work, policy development, and performance management.

After completing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Victoria, Jocelin went on to train as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation. She has also attained two additional designations: Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) and Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP).

Nothing is more rewarding for Jocelin than connecting people to meaningful work and the workplaces they will thrive in. She loves to support good workplaces as they transition into great ones. Building on her vibrant and diverse background in recreation and youth leadership development, human resources, and career development, Jocelin brings high-level energy, a wide range of experience, and laser focus to every workday.
