LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.

Course Instructors
Ritu Ahuja | Lean Integration Leader | Kinetic Construction
With over 15 years of experience, Ritu is playing a leadership role in advancing knowledge and awareness about lean design and construction within the industry. She holds a Ph.D. in Built Environment and was also the recipient of the VRCA 2022 Education Leadership Award.
As part of her current role, she is a coach, a mentor, and a leader, leading lean initiatives for Kinetic Construction Ltd. (Kinetic). She continues to be a part of various panel discussions on lean and sits on the advisory committees working towards advancing lean in the industry. She has coached various project teams to understand the real meaning of the lean project delivery and lean construction as applicable. As part of the coaching, Ritu successfully continues to disseminate her teachings through adequate trainings not only to Kinetic staff, but also, to trade partner representatives on various projects. Ritu’s work in lean construction has been acknowledged internationally through journal publications, book chapters, and various conference presentations.
Ritu is one of the founding board members of the Lean Design and Construction Canada (LDCC), Integrated Project Delivery Alliance (IPDA), and is also one of the core team members of the Vancouver and Vancouver Island Lean Community of Practice (Lean CoP). In 2023, Ritu was also awarded the 40 Under 40 Award by On-Site magazine for her contributions to the existing knowledge of lean construction in the AEC industry.
